In 2024, the team once again succeeded in inspiring, moving and connecting with numerous event projects. Each event combines creative design, careful planning and gripping storytelling to create experiences that are specifically tailored to the different target groups and objectives.
1 Esperienza Ferrari On Ice
Ferrari China | Inner Mongolia, China | January 2024
Engines roared in the freezing air of Inner Mongolia; in the deep and frosty northern region of China, we embarked on the new year together with Ferrari on an icy test drive.
Four waves totalling 200+ guests with companions experienced firsthand various Ferrari car models, including the 296 Family, Roma, the powerful and elegant Purosangue and Roma Spider.
At the Hulunbeier Yakeshi Automobile Test Zone, ice and snow became the racetrack, allowing participants to feel the adrenaline speeding in the candid landscape of the region.
After a fun Ice Kart session, guests had the opportunity to unwind and delve into local culture through Mongolian cuisine. Accompanied by authentic performances of the region, a restoring dinner was served in the Ferrari Lounge, whose design not only captured Ferrari’s culture, but also combined regional and minimal architecture.
For the first time in Mainland China, Esperienza Ferrari On Ice affirmed that sophistication and thrill can seamlessly coexist: transcending conventional boundaries, it left an icy imprint, making it a drive to remember.
2 VOLKSWAGEN 'DESIGN A NEW ERA' AT AUTO CHINA
Volkswagen China | Beijing, China | April 2024
In line with the brand’s new chapter of ‘Design a new era’, Volkswagen presented its first fully immersive Autoshow booth at Auto China 2024.
Combining the best of two worlds, and inspired by both Chinese and German architecture, the booth was the embodiment of avant-garde design.
Departing from conventional auto show layouts, where function areas are positioned in the back and product highlights in the front, the booth’s innovative semi-enclosed structure drew inspiration from the traditional Pekinese Siheyuan.
At its heart lied the atrium, a captivating space dedicated to immersing visitors in a vibrant World of Design. Featuring no less than 20 LEDs, the booth allowed for a fully immersive experience, and continually morphed to reflect all facets of lifestyle and design.
3 PORSCHE BRAND POP-UP
Porsche China | Chengdu, Hangzhou, Beijing | May 2024
A new Provence-coloured booth for Porsche started its journey around the country, bringing exciting experiences to the public.
Upon entering, guests immediately encountered the new Porsche Taycan 4S flanked by the iconic Porsche 918 Spyder. A large LED screen dynamically and engagingly showcased how the racing car and the newest Taycan model share their DNA.
Around the booth, various elements allowed visitors to explore more about the Taycan and the Porsche BEV world, the brand’s history, and its essence while engaging in interactive activities.
But the news didn’t end there: opposite the Café, a hidden room was dedicated to the exclusive reveal of the new all-electric Porsche Macan, emphasizing the brand’s transition to electrification.
After the first stop in Chengdu, the booth has been hosted in five more cities.
4 OMODA JAECOO GO PARIS!
Omoda&Jaecoo | Milan, Valle D'Aosta, Chamonix, Dijon, Paris | July 2024
What better way to test the performance of a car than by driving it?
In July 2024, we joined Omoda Jaecoo for an adventurous 3-day-long road trip from Milan to Paris, giving the opportunity to 3 Italian social media creators to get their hands on the wheel of the new Omoda 5.
Featuring activities dedicated to sport and culture, the social media activation was followed online across various stops such as Valle d’Aosta, Chamonix, Beaune and Dijon.
At the arrival in Paris, creators from other countries joined the Italian team in an exclusive Brand Night under the Eiffel Tower.
Not only in charge of the overall event management, VOK DAMS China also had a team of video makers onsite to create original content for the brand.
5 ALIPAY X UEFA EURO
Alipay | Berlin, Germany | July 2024
As an official partner of UEFA Euro 2024, Alipay hosted a Creators Forum in Germany and invited more than 60 guests to Berlin for a series of presentations and panel discussions, followed by a picturesque boat tour on the Spree.
VOK DAMS was able to create a smooth event that met the expectations of the target group, especially with the combination of local China and Berlin know-how.
After the informative conference, the guests explored Berlin by boat. On the Spree, they enjoyed a relaxed evening with music, food and sightseeing and enjoyed the exchange in a special atmosphere.
As a special surprise and highlight, the well-known singer, songwriter and actor, Su Xing, and his team mingled with the guests for an exclusive meet and greet.
