With the Growth Days 2026, the VOK DAMS office in Frankfurt became a meeting point for apprentices and trainees from all German locations for two days. The internal format stands for focused exchange, shared learning, and gaining insights into different ways of working. Cross-location and practice-oriented.

Tag 1: NETWORKING AS A STARTING POINT

The first day began with a clear focus on communication and collaboration. A speed-dating format helped participants connect quickly and facilitated open conversations right from the start. Subsequent group challenges encouraged joint problem-solving, comparison of perspectives, and mutual learning. Early on, the exchange across locations and disciplines highlighted the value of diverse viewpoints in everyday work.

A program highlight with strong practical relevance was the visit to the Hessian Broadcasting Corporation (Hessischer Rundfunk). The guided tour provided insights into production processes in radio and television and illustrated the importance of clear structures, coordination, and teamwork behind complex media formats. The day concluded with a shared dinner, offering space for conversations beyond the agenda and workshop setting.

Tag 2: CONTENT RELEVANT TO EVERYDAY WORK

On the second day, professional topics moved into focus. Workshops on communication, collaboration, and artificial intelligence invited discussion, reflection, and hands-on exploration. The objective was not to convey theoretical concepts, but to address concrete questions from everyday work and develop ideas together.

It became particularly clear that personal exchange with colleagues from other offices and disciplines has an impact beyond the workshops themselves. The conversations demonstrated how strongly collaboration benefits from openness, mutual understanding, and learning from one another – regardless of location or role.

Not only the content, but above all the personal interaction shaped the Growth Days in Frankfurt. The intensive exchange between our apprentices and trainees opened up new perspectives, deepened knowledge, and strengthened cross-location cohesion.
