August 2025 | NEWS # ## VOK DAMS and the Power of Award Events: Where Live Marketing Makes an Impact  Award events give special achievements the recognition they deserve. They highlight what can be accomplished through ideas, knowledge, and commitment, by bringing people and brands together. When approached strategically, they become far more than just a celebratory moment. It is one of the most prestigious innovation awards in Europe. VOK DAMS has supported the format multiple times, including producing the “Young Inventors Prize”. This is a dedicated prize for young talents under 30 whose innovations make actual contributions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.  In 2025, the award ceremony took place in Reykjavík as a hybrid event: live on site and broadcast internationally as a TV-format. Winners, their families and friends were invited to share the experience in person. The event honored achievements and made values visible: a spirit of innovation, social responsibility, and the courage to explore new paths.  At the heart of the event were the inventors themselves – their stories, their projects, and their visions. Topics ranged from e-waste recycling to CO₂ storage, from aeronautics to food security.
