Through the active participation in this year's Christmas Charity Quiz, we are creating a meaningful change - VOK DAMS is providing access to primary education for 600 children in Momella. Our commitment to sustainability in all dimensions is very close to our hearts. We are delighted with the success of our charity campaign and would like to thank all participants.

EMPOWERING CHANGE: OUR JOURNEY IN SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

In a world characterised by privilege, we tend to take many comforts for granted, including access to a comprehensive education. This awareness of our privileged position is particularly important in recognising and actively tackling pressing social challenges around the world. As an international event and live marketing agency, we face up to our responsibility through a wide range of sustainable activities that we implement in our day-to-day business in line with our integrated management system. 

A significant step in this direction is our consistent focus on social responsibility and the promotion of diversity, equality and inclusion (DE&I) - the social dimension of sustainability. These values are not only an integral part of our management system, but also a living expression of our conviction that sustainability goes beyond ecological aspects and promotes an inclusive, diverse society.

It fills us with great joy to see that the topic of sustainability is also highly valued by our customers, partners and employees. Our annual Christmas campaign in the form of a quiz is an expression of this commitment. For each entry, we donate a certain amount to sustainable projects. Last year, we focussed on the ecological component of sustainability. Through our contribution to the reforestation of the Westerwald, a total of 100 tonnes of CO2 were saved. 

This year, we asked our employees to vote on the donation target, and the social component of sustainability clearly came out on top. Thanks to the many participants in the Christmas Charity Quiz, we can now provide 600 children in Momella with a primary school education by honouring the promise of financial support per quiz participation. With this initiative, we are setting a mark for social responsibility and actively supporting the Momella Förderverein e.V. in Tanzania, East Africa.

about the MOMELLA förderverein e.v.

The Momella Förderverein e.V. is a non-profit organisation that promotes education and sustainable development in a small town in East Africa in the Tanzania region. The organisation is dedicated to improving the living conditions of the people in Momella, in particular by supporting educational projects.

A key focus is the support of local schools and educational facilities: through donations and targeted support programmes, the association enables 2,300 children in this region to have access to a decent primary school education. This is achieved by building classrooms and teachers' rooms, equipping the schools with furniture and purchasing the necessary teaching and learning materials. These measures not only sustainably improve the children's future prospects, but also focus on their overall development.

At VOK DAMS, we understand that responsibility lies not only in our daily work in event creation and event production, but also in our contribution to the realisation of global sustainability goals. This year, together with our customers, partners and employees, we have once again contributed to taking a step in the right direction.
